Today was a difficult day for RivkA.
RivkA was in a lot of pain for most of the day. Throughout the day she was being tended to by her family and hospital staff to try and keep her as comfortable as possible in her weakened condition.
This evening, RivkA's husband Moshe asked her if she wanted to see any of the guests who had patiently waited (and stayed) for a chance to see her, and she answered, "yes." Her friends were able to briefly see her, and that made RivkA happy.
The majority of people didn't get to see her today, but RivkA's family is encouraging people to come, on the chance RikvA might be able to see them at some point.
Hoping for an easier day tomorrow.

Thank you Jameel
Yes, thank you, Jameel.
thanks Jameel. Please let RivkA know I am thinking about her.
Thank you, Jameel, these updates mean so much to us.
Jameel,
Thank you.
RivkA,
Those of us who can't visit you in person are doing our best to visit you through this blog. So horribly sorry to hear about your pain, which is our pain too. May HKBH grant you koach and remove your pain. As for me, I wish you koach and emunah, and if one is flagging may the other help you to continue to fight the battle!
Moshe, Y, MD and A; David, Aviva, and Mom and Dad: Thank you for sharing your amazing wife/mother/sister/daughter's time and energy with her friends. Wishing you all koach and emunah (as above) as well.
LOL Na'amah and family, in the UK
Thank you for updating Jameel. I am sorry to hear that RivkA is having so much pain, am praying for her relief. Keeping RivkA and all of her family in my heart and prayers.....:-) Hugs
Jameel, Thank you so much for the updates. Please tell RivkA that her friend Rebecca Kern from WI has been davening for her daily. And something bizarre happened recently where I was speaking to someone at work about her. This person has never been to Israel like myself, and She offered to take me there after I said I admitted I have no funds. Even so, I'd love to go ASAP, but I still have to get other funds in order so I may not be able to get out there until Spring / Summer. It would be so wonderful to finally see you RivkA!!!
Jameel, also is there any update about her overall improvement? Is her liver starting to come back? This same person who offered to take me to Israel is an ICU RN.. she said that the liver is like a rat... a person can live on 10% of their liver functioning and live a good life!
Thank you Jameel for taking the time to let us know what's happening. It really means a lot.
again. thank you jameel.
Thanks Jameel!
RivkA - I an so glad that I caught you and an extra hug a couple of weeks ago.
You are one in a million - and you have taught me so much. The way your smile lights up the waiting room, the way you love and parent your kids, the way you appreciate your husband and his parents.
We should all be blessed with the opportunity to continue enjoying you, learning from you, and receiving your hugs.
You are PHENOMENAL
Lots of love and tefillot,
tamar (hadassa radiotherapy)
thank you Jameel for keeping us all updated on how RivkA is, it must be tough on you too so please take care.
RivkA - keeping you strong in my heart and praying for you.
RivkA's family - sending you all a gentle hug and praying for you all too.
xx
I also appreciate the updates, Jameel and continue davening for RivkA. Please give her and her family my best.
Jameel, thanks for the update. RivkA has touched so many people. My support to Moshe and the kids and the rest of her family. May G-d give them strength and good health.
Like the others, I applaud Jameel's
kind efforts in keeping RivkA's many friends and fans informed.
RivkA once mentioned in a letter to me that she has known Jameel since kindergarden. She highly values his friendship.
As always, RivkA is in my prayers.
RivkA,
I'm not going to clog your waiting room, but I'm thinking of you. (Besides, who knows if I'd get the right spot this time around?)
Jameel,
We know this isn't easy for you - but you are like a life-line to us so that we can feel we are with RifkA. What we can do, we are doing - your updates make it so much easier. Please send RifkA my love. We're headed to Hebron for Shabbat - I hope I can visit RifkA on Sunday.
Paula
You're all very, very welcome.
May we share good news.
